BioThe Lord has molded me into a woman of faith, of strength, and of determination. I have gone through some rough personal struggles, and have grown from all of them. This year has been a year of triumph in my life - all for God!! He opened doors that needed to be opened and closed doors that needed to be closed. The Lord works in His own time - He is never too early nor too late! He has provided me with a job that I love, at American Public University System, where I can make a difference for our troops, and get paid for it! He has given me the opportunity to pursue my Master's Degree in a field I've had a great passion for - International Relations.
I volunteer with an organization called Soldiers' Angels. I adopt troops from all branches and support them during their deployments. I write letters and send care packages and try to meet their needs so that the sacrifices they're making aren't so lonely or distraut. I do this to show them my appreciation and to remind them that no matter what the media might say, there are Americans back home who support them and love them and remember their struggle so that we may live in freedom.
